Houston, TX – A 70-year-old man was killed on Tuesday in a bicycle accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident occurred around 10:15 a.m. on August 26 in the 4000 block of Watonga Boulevard.
Police said the man was riding a bicycle northbound when a black GMC Denali failed to yield the right of way when exiting a private driveway and struck him.
The man was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
The GMC driver remained at the scene, did not show signs of intoxication, and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
