Houston, TX – An 82-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a car accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 2:15 p.m. on August 13 in the 12100 block of Westheimer Road.
Police said a white Ford Taurus was traveling westbound when it failed to maintain a single lane and struck a gold Toyota Camry, a blue Hyundai Sonata, and a white Cadillac. The Ford then veered into the sidewalk and became disabled.
The Ford driver, an 82-year-old man, possibly had a medical episode before the accident. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.
No other injuries were reported.
The police are investigating the accident.
