37-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Motorcycle Accident on Southwest Freeway

Houston, Texas – A 37-year-old motorcyclist was killed Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.
The deadly crash happened around 4:10 a.m., on June 16, in the 9600 block of the Southwest Freeway (US 59).
Police said a BMW 320i was traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed on the freeway when it collided with an eastbound black Harley Davidson.
The impact caused the motorcyclist to be ejected into the grassy area off the freeway.
The BMW driver lost control, crossed the grassy area, and then fled eastbound on the freeway service road.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
