Whitney, Texas – A motorcyclist was killed following an accident involving three vehicles in Whitney on Monday evening, according to the Whitney Police Department.

The motorcycle accident happened around 5:11 p.m. on August 5, in the 800 block of E. Jefferson Avenue

Police said a motorcycle, operated by Jason Collins, 52, of Whitney, and two other vehicles were involved in the crash.

According to the Whitney Police Department, Collins sustained fatal injuries in the incident and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in the accident.

An investigation to determine the cause of the deadly crash is ongoing.
