The deadly collision happened on FM 691, east of FM 1417 just before 8 a.m. on December 30.

Denison, TX – One person was killed and two others were injured following a collision involving a big rig and a car in Denison Monday morning.
The deadly collision happened on FM 691, east of FM 1417 just before 8 a.m. on December 30.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the 18-wheeler crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with a Ford van.
After the collision, the big rig drove off the roadway, into a ravine. The big rig driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The two people in the van were hospitalized and are expected to survive.
The collision led to the closure of FM 691 for more than eight hours.
The incident remains under investigation.
