Killeen, TX. – 67-year-old Betsey Rolston has been identified as the woman who died in a collision involving a stolen vehicle on Wednesday afternoon in Killeen.

According to the Killeen Police Department, the accident happened in the area of Trimmier Road and Grandon Drive at around 11:53 a.m. on Feb. 5.

Police reportedly tried to stop a Jeep that had been reported stolen, but the driver failed to stop and fled south on Trimmier Road.

After a short pursuit, the suspect crashed into a silver sedan. The impact of the collision caused the sedan to strike a black pickup truck which overturned onto its side.

Rolston was driving the silver sedan and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two juvenile occupants of the stolen Jeep attempted to flee the scene on foot but were arrested and taken into custody.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
