Three other people were injured in the accident and were transported to an area hospital for treatment

Denton, TX. – A woman was killed in a collision that left three others injured in Denton on Sunday evening.
According to the Denton Police Department, the accident happened around 7:46 p.m. at Teasley Lane and Hunters Creek Road.
31-year-old Kirsten Faith Chovanetz was driving a car on Hunters Creek and was turning onto Teasley when she collided with another car.
Both vehicles came to a rest in the northbound lanes of Teasley.
Chovanetz died at the scene, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner.
Three other people were injured in the accident and were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
