San Antonio, TX – Three trick-or-treaters were injured on Halloween night in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio’s South Side, according to the police.
The accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. on October 31 in the 9300 block of Monsanto.
Police said a truck struck a parked vehicle, jumped the curb, and hit a group of trick-or-treaters.
A 29-year-old woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover. A 29-year-old man and a 1-year-old girl sustained minor injuries in the accident. The victims are a family.
The truck driver, a man in his 60s, fled the scene after the accident. He was later arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
The police are investigating the accident.
