Houston, TX – A woman was killed on Tuesday in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. on December 23 in the 3500 block of Corder Street.
Police said a man and a woman had gotten into an argument near Highway 288 before they got into their vehicles. The man then started chasing the woman with his car at a high rate of speed. He lost control on the street and hit a female bystander, who was standing next to her car.
The victim was pinned between the two vehicles and was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Her name has not been released.
The man showed signs of intoxication.
No other details were provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
