The driver of the Ford Escape and his 17-year-old female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene

Milam County, TX. – Two teenagers lost their lives in a car crash on Wednesday evening in Milam County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on U.S. Highway 79 near County Road 334 at around 6:55 p.m.
An eastbound white 2008 Dodge Ram pickup truck driven by a 60-year-old man and towing a utility trailer drifted into the westbound lane and collided head-on with a 2019 Ford Escape.
The driver of the Ford lost control and struck a 2026 Infinity QX60, which was traveling behind the Dodge Ram.
The driver of the Ford Escape and his 17-year-old female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
Three occupants of the Infiniti QX60 sustained serious injuries and were taken to Baylor Scott & White Hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
