San Angelo, TX – One person was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle collision in San Angelo, according to the police.
The collision occurred around 11:00 a.m. on August 1 at the intersection of Foster Road and Sunset Drive near the Texas Department of Public Safety Office.
Police said a white Lincoln Aviator was traveling eastbound on Sunset Boulevard when it failed to yield the right of way and collided with a dark Ford F-250 that was traveling southbound on Foster Road.
The driver of the Aviator was taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. She told officers she did not see the truck and was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
The truck driver was uninjured in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
