Amarillo, TX – One person was injured Friday night in a multi-vehicle collision in Amarillo, according to the authorities.
The collision happened around 8:45 p.m. on October 10 on Interstate 27 near Rockwell Road.
Authorities said a vehicle was disabled on the southbound shoulder of the interstate. A driver had stopped to help when a southbound recreational vehicle struck both vehicles, causing a chain reaction collision.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision.
One person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.

The authorities are investigating the accident.
