The motorcyclist was ejected and was taken to St. David’s South in critical condition

Bastrop, TX. – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision on Saturday night in Bastrop.
According to local police, the accident happened around 11:22 p.m. in the 100 block of Perkins Street on the SH 71 frontage road.
A man was riding a motorcycle on the highway when he lost control and struck a concrete barrier.
The man was ejected and was taken to St. David’s South in critical condition.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
