Odessa, TX – One person was injured Monday evening in a multi-car collision in Odessa, according to the police.
The collision occurred around 6:04 p.m. on October 6 in the 800 block of East IH-20.
Police said a 27-year-old woman was driving a white Chevrolet Silverado eastbound while a 23-year-old woman was driving a gray Hyundai Elantra eastbound, directly behind the Silverado. A 30-year-old man was driving a white Ford F-250 towing a trailer eastbound, behind the Elantra.
The driver of the F-250 failed to control speed and rear-ended the Elantra. The impact pushed the Elantra into the back of the Silverado.
The driver of the Elantra was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the F-250 was cited for Fail to Control Speed.
The police are investigating the accident.
