The collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. on July 28 at Southland Boulevard and Sherwood Way.

San Angelo, TX – One person was injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle collision at a San Angelo intersection, according to the San Angelo Police Department.
The collision occurred around 11:30 a.m. on July 28 at Southland Boulevard and Sherwood Way.
Police said a white Ford pickup truck hauling a trailer was traveling eastbound on Sherwood Way and was attempting to turn left onto FM 2288. It was then struck by a black Chevrolet pickup hauling a trailer that was heading westbound on Sherwood Way.
Witnesses said the black Chevrolet had a green light at the time of the accident.
After the collision, the trailer being hauled by the Ford detached and traveled about half a block down Sherwood Way. It might have also hit the Chevrolet.
The Chevrolet driver was treated and released at the scene for minor injuries.
The Ford driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way while turning left.
The police are investigating the accident.
