One Injured in San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at South Abe Street and West Avenue D

San Angelo, Texas – One person was injured last Monday in a two-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to the San Angelo Police Department.
The crash happened on June 10, at the intersection of South Abe Street and West Avenue D.
Police said a Chevy Avalanche was traveling westbound on Avenue D, while a Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on South Abe Street.
The Avalanche failed to yield the right of way from the stop sign and hit the Toyota, causing it to spin around.
The driver of the Camry was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The Avalanche driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
The roads were dry and the weather was clear at the time of the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
