Houston, TX – One person was killed and another was injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision at an intersection in Houston early Saturday morning, according to a police report.
The accident happened at about 2:40 a.m. on Saturday, August 17 at 5000 block of North Freeway and East Burress Street.

According to Houston police, a white Land Rover Ranger Rover and an 18-wheeler were involved in the incident.
Initial investigation revealed that the Ranger Rover crashed into the 18-wheeler.
Two men were in the Ranger Rover at the time of the crash, authorities said.
One man died and the second one was transported to a hospital.
The name of the deceased was not immediately released.
