Austin, TX. – A man died after being struck by a car in Austin on Wednesday evening.
According to the Austin Police Department, the accident happened around 5:55 p.m. at West Cesar Chavez Street and Walter Seaholm Drive.
A vehicle reportedly struck a 35-year-old man near the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver remained at the scene and is assisting detectives with the investigation.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
