The pickup truck driver was transported to Medical City Decatur, where he later died.

Bridgeport, TX. – A man was killed in a car accident on Monday morning in Bridgeport.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 6 a.m. on Texas 101 at the intersection with U.S. 380.
A loaded rock hauler was stopped in the turn lane on Texas 101, waiting to turn left, when it was rear-ended by a 2021 Dodge half-ton pickup that was traveling southbound.
The pickup truck driver was injured in the accident and was transported to Medical City Decatur, where he later died.
The driver of the rock hauler was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
