Cedar Park, TX— One person is dead following a traffic collision that occurred overnight on the US 183A Toll Road in Cedar Park, authorities said.

According to the Cedar Park Police Department, one person died in the accident. The identity of the victim was not immediately released.
One other person was hospitalized with serious injuries
The roadway was shut down due to the collision. Some lanes have since reopened but some remain impacted.

An investigation to determine the cause of the deadly wreck is underway. No additional information is available at this time.
