Corpus Christi, TX. – A pedestrian died after being hit by a car in Corpus Christi on Saturday evening.
The fatal pedestrian accident happened around 6 p.m. in the 3300 block of Ayers Street near Tarlton Street, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the 68-year-old man was crossing Ayers Street and was hit by a car.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
