Corpus Christi, TX – One person was killed Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in Corpus Christi, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened around 4:49 a.m. on November 3 in the 3900 block of Saratoga Boulevard.
Police said a pedestrian was crossing the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by a westbound vehicle.
The victim was rushed to a local hospital, where he later died. His name has not been released.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene after the accident.
The accident closed Saratoga Boulevard, and it was reopened around 8:30 a.m.
The police are investigating the accident.
