Dallas, TX. – One person was killed in a pedestrian accident on New Year’s Day in North Dallas.
According to Dallas Police, the accident happened around 11:15 p.m. in the 10500 block of Stone Canyon Road near Riverbrook Drive.
The pedestrian was struck by a car in unclear circumstances.
The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital, where they later died.
The driver was given a field sobriety test and then arrested after apparently failing it.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
