Decatur, TX. – An 84-year-old man died in a collision involving an 18-wheeler on Monday afternoon in Decatur.
According to the local authorities, the crash occurred on Farm Road 51 near Charlies Road.
A Ford F-150 pickup truck driven by an 84-year-old was attempting to pull out onto FM 51 when it was T-boned by an 18-wheeler traveling southbound.
The 18-wheeler then veered off the road and struck multiple fences before coming to a stop across the driveway.
The driver of the Ford was ejected from the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries.
