Two women in the third car were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

DeSoto, TX. – One person was killed in a car accident that left two others injured in DeSoto early Saturday morning.
According to the DeSoto Police Department, the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of North I-35E.
A 26-year-old man was involved in a single-vehicle collision that caused his van to flip onto its side.
The man crawled out of the van and was hit by a passing car.
The man died at the scene.
A short time later, two approaching vehicles hit both the van and the second vehicle.
Two women in the third car were taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
