According to the Farmers Branch Police Department, the accident happened around 1 a.m. at the intersection of Marsh Lane and Wooded Creek Drive.
A Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling northbound on Marsh Lane when the driver ran a red light and collided with a Mazda.
The driver of the Mazda was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Tahoe and its passengers were hospitalized with serious injuries.
