Harris County, TX – A man was killed Friday night in an 18-wheeler accident in south Harris County, according to the authorities.
The fatal accident happened at about 11:00 p.m. on November 28 at the intersection of Highway 288 and South Beltway.
Authorities said an Amazon 18-wheeler ran a red light and crashed into a sedan.
The driver of the sedan, a man, was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the car. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The driver of the Amazon truck did not show signs of intoxication.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
