Harris County, TX. – A bicyclist died after colliding with a car on Sunday morning in Houston.

According to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened on the Eastex Freeway service road.

A man was driving a 2014 Kia Soul southbound in the number two lane when it struck a bicyclist also traveling south.

The bicyclist died in the collision.

The name of the bicyclist was not immediately disclosed.

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Vehicular Crimes Division is investigating the accident.
