Howard County, TX. – One person was killed in a car crash in Howard County on Saturday.
According to the Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on IH-20, near mile marker 176.
A Chevrolet Silverado was traveling westbound in the outside lane of the freeway when it crashed into a Ford truck that was parked on the shoulder and also struck the driver, who was outside the vehicle.
The driver of the Ford truck was killed in the accident.
The driver of the Silverado was injured in the accident and was taken to Scenic Mountain Medical Center in Big Spring.
The two passengers inside the Ford were unhurt.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
