The 51-year-old driver of the Ford Edge was killed in the accident.

Kempner, TX. – One person was killed in a car accident that left multiple people injured in Kempner.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened around 9:59 a.m. on US 190.
A Ford Edge had been stopped on the westbound shoulder and was attempting to make a U-turn when it was struck by a westbound Ford Explorer.
The 51-year-old driver of the Ford Edge was killed in the accident.
A 13-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl in the Edge were flown to McLane Children’s Hospital in Temple with serious injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
