The Nissan driver is facing charges of intoxication manslaughter and collision involving personal injury or death

La Blanca, TX. – One person was killed in a hit-and-run accident on Monday evening on La Blanca.
According to local police, the accident occurred on State Highway 107 east of FM 493 at around 5:15 p.m.
A gray Nissan driven by a 33-year-old Alamo man veered off the road in unclear circumstances and hit a 76-year-old man who was taking trash to the garbage bin.
The Nissan driver fled the scene but was later arrested in a nearby parking lot.
The 76-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the authorities, the Nissan driver is facing charges of intoxication manslaughter and collision involving personal injury or death.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
