Martin County, TX. – A 45-year-old man died in a two-vehicle collision early Saturday morning in Martin County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on Interstate 20 near mile marker 158 around 5 a.m.
A westbound 2006 Chrysler 300 was travelling in the outside lane when it rear-ended a Freightliner trailer.
The Chrysler driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 58-year-old driver of the semi-truck was not injured.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
