The man riding the motorcycle was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital in Lubbock

Snyder, TX. – One person was killed and another was injured in a motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon near Snyder in Scurry County.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the accident happened on U.S. 84 at Ennis Creek Road.
A motorcycle northbound on U.S. 84 when it crashed into the rear of an SUV that had turned onto the highway from Ennis Creek Road.
The man riding the motorcycle was seriously injured and was taken to a hospital in Lubbock.
A female passenger of the motorcycle died at the scene.
Police say both were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
The SUV driver was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
