Harris County, TX. – One person was killed in a car accident that left two others injured on Saturday morning near Spring in Harris County.
The deadly collision happened around 9 a.m. on SH-99 near Kuykendahl Road.
The driver of a work van reportedly failed to drive in a single lane, veered to the left, and struck a guardrail. The vehicle burst into flames after the crash.
A passenger in the car was killed in the accident.
The driver was flown to the hospital with serious injuries and was listed in critical condition.
A witness who sustained burn injuries while trying to help the occupants out of the vehicle was also transported to a local hospital for treatment.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
