Austin, TX – One person was killed and several others were injured following a two-vehicle traffic collision on Old Lockhart Highway in Austin Saturday evening, according to ATCEMS.
The fatal accident happened at about 5:23 p.m. on December 28 in the 8700 block of Old Lockhart Highway.
According to ATCEMS, medics responded to the scene of a 2-vehicle collision with 1 patient pinned in their vehicle. The EMS medics and fire rescue team extricated the trapped party and performed CPR on the patient.
According to ATCEMS, a total of six patients were found at the scene. One of the patients -described only as an adult – was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.

One person was transported to St. David’s South with minor injuries. The other four patients did not require transport.
