Austin, TX – A person was seriously injured early Thursday morning in a pedestrian accident in south Austin, according to the Austin Police Department.
The accident happened at about 6:00 a.m. on November 13 near the intersection of Menchaca Road and Prather Lane.
Police said a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle near the intersection and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
The accident closed Menchaca Road.
The police are investigating the accident.
