Lubbock, TX – One person was seriously injured Sunday night after a police chase ended in a collision in northwest Lubbock, according to the authorities.
The accident happened just after 11:00 p.m. on August 31 in the area of 4th and Bangor.
Authorities said officers were working a separate accident at 2nd and Slide when another car crashed into the scene. The driver sped off and was pursued by the police. The chase ended when the driver crashed into another car at 4th and Bangor.
One person was taken to UMC with serious injuries.
The driver was taken into custody.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
