Dallas, TX — One person was killed following a two-car accident in Dallas on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Police said the incident was reported at about 2:15 p.m. on August 28 at Easton Road and Garland Road.
Dallas police officers and Dallas Fire Rescue (DFR) responded to the scene and found one of the drivers pinned in their vehicle and required extrication.
Driver Dies in Dallas 2-Car Accident on August 28
DFR crews were able to remove the pinned driver successfully. Unfortunately, the driver succumbed to their injuries at the scene. The identity of the deceased was withheld pending next of kin notification.
Authorities said the second driver was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The deadly incident remains under investigation.
