Falls County, TX – Two people were killed Tuesday afternoon in a wrong-way collision in Falls County, according to the Texas DPS.
The fatal collision was reported around 12:45 p.m. on September 30 on Highway 6 near CR 105.
DPS said a passenger car was traveling the wrong way in the northbound lanes of the highway when it collided head-on with an 18-wheeler.
The 18-wheeler overturned, and the passenger car became fully engulfed in flames after the collision.
Two people in the passenger car were killed in the collision. Their identities have not been released.
The 18-wheeler driver sustained minor injuries in the accident.
The accident closed the highway for several hours.
The troopers are investigating the accident.
