Concho, County, TX – The drivers of two vehicles were killed after their vehicles collided head-on collision near Eola on Christmas Day, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety  (DPS).

The deadly collision happened at about 8:35 p.m. Wednesday, December 25 on eastbound FM 765

The Texas DPS said a preliminary investigation showed that a vehicle was traveling eastbound on FM 765 when a westbound van entered the eastbound lane and the two vehicles collided head-on.

The eastbound car caught fire after the collision.

Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene by Concho County Judge Allen Amos.

A passenger in the van sustained serious injuries and was transported to Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

The incident remains under investigation.
