Two people in the truck were trapped and had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital

Fort Worth, TX. – Injuries were reported in a collision involving a fire engine early Sunday morning in Fort Worth.
The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. near the U.S. 287.
A fire engine was stopped at the scene of a single-vehicle crash when it was struck by a truck traveling northbound.
Two people in the truck were trapped and had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital for treatment.
No firefighters were injured in the crash.
The driver of the initial single-car accident was reported as uninjured.
