The accident happened around 5:41 p.m. on October 6 in the 800 block of West Interstate Highway 20.

Odessa, TX – Two people were injured Monday evening in a multi-vehicle accident in Odessa, according to the police.
The accident happened around 5:41 p.m. on October 6 in the 800 block of West Interstate Highway 20.
Police said a 34-year-old man was driving a white Ford F-250 eastbound, while a 39-year-old woman was driving a silver Chevrolet Traverse eastbound behind the Ford F-250. A 27-year-old man was driving a black Chevrolet Silverado eastbound behind the Traverse. A red Peterbilt 18-wheeler was traveling eastbound directly behind the Silverado.
The 18-wheeler driver failed to control speed and rear-ended the Silverado. The force of the impact pushed the Silverado, and it rear-ended the Traverse. The Traverse then rear-ended the Ford F-250.
The driver of the Silverado and the driver of the Traverse were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other injuries were reported.
The driver of the 18-wheeler was cited for Fail to Control Speed.
The police are investigating the accident.
