San Antonio, TX – Two people were injured early Monday morning in a DUI accident in San Antonio’s Northwest Side, according to the police.

The accident occurred around 1:00 a.m. on January 12 on westbound Loop 1604 near the Northwest Military Highway exit.

Police said a man was driving a black pickup truck when he rear-ended a parked TxDOT work crew arrow truck.

The female passenger in the pickup truck was ejected from the vehicle. She and the driver were taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The pickup driver was intoxicated at the time of the accident and could face intoxication assault charges.

No additional details were provided.

The police are investigating the accident.
