Kyle, TX – A 15-year-old and their sibling were injured Thursday morning after they were struck by a vehicle in Kyle, according to the police.
The accident occurred around 6:30 a.m. on October 30 in the 3300 block of Dacy Lane near Science Hall Elementary School.
Police said the teenager was escorting their younger sibling across the street when they were struck by a vehicle. A crossing guard was on duty with a stop sign displayed at the time of the accident.
Both the teen and their sibling were taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
Hays CISD officials said the victims attend district schools.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
