The hit-and-run driver was arrested and booked into Smith County Jail.

Tyler, TX. – Two teenagers were hospitalized in a hit-and-run collision on Friday night in Tyler.
According to Tyler Police, the accident happened around 10:24 p.m. at W. Front Street and Bruck Avenue.
The circumstances surrounding the collision were not immediately determined, but one of the cars reportedly fled the scene after the collision.
An 18-year-old and a 13-year-old were injured in the accident and were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The hit-and-run driver, 49-year-old Howard Jessie, was arrested and booked into Smith County Jail.
Additional information about the accident was not provided.
