20-Year-Old and 22-Year-Old Women Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on North St. Marys Street
San Antonio, Texas – Two women were seriously injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio, according to the police.
The accident happened around 2:24 a.m., February 11, in the 2600 block of North St. Marys Street.
Police said the two women, ages 20 and 22, were on the sidewalk when they were struck by a black Chevy Tahoe. The Tahoe driver fled the scene and hit a parked vehicle across the street. The vehicle then crashed into a fence and the driver fled a third time. The vehicle was found abandoned between Valdez Street and East French Place Street, with multiple cases of cold beer inside it. If located, the driver will be charged with two counts of collision involving injury and failure to stop and render aid.
The police are investigating the crash.
