The deadly accident occurred around 11:40 p.m. on July 29 in the 6400 block of Westheimer Road.

Houston, TX – A 25-year-old man was killed Tuesday night in a pedestrian accident in Houston, according to the police.
The deadly accident occurred around 11:40 p.m. on July 29 in the 6400 block of Westheimer Road.
Police said the man was running southbound across the roadway, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an eastbound Nissan Altima.
The Altima driver immediately stopped and called 9-1-1.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The driver did not show signs of intoxication and was questioned and released.
The police are investigating the accident.
