The fatal collision was reported just after 1:00 a.m. on November 2 at the intersection of Almeda and West Orem.

Houston, TX – Three people were killed early Sunday morning in a DWI accident in southwest Houston, according to the police.
The fatal collision was reported just after 1:00 a.m. on November 2 at the intersection of Almeda and West Orem.
Police said a vehicle ran a red light and struck another vehicle, pushing it into three other vehicles that were stopped at the light, waiting to travel northbound on Almeda.
Two people, both males, were pronounced dead at the scene. A female was ejected from the car and was taken to the hospital where she later died. All three victims were in the same car. Their identities have not been released.
The driver who ran the red light was critically injured in the collision. He was charged with intoxication manslaughter.
The accident temporarily closed the intersection, but it has since been reopened.
The police are investigating the accident.
