Austin, TX – Three people were injured Wednesday morning in a multi-vehicle collision in SE Austin, according to officials.
The collision was reported around 6:15 a.m. on October 22 near the intersection of East William Cannon Drive and Branchwood Drive.
Officials said multiple vehicles were involved in the collision.
One person was pinned inside their vehicle and had to be extricated.
One adult was taken to a South Austin hospital with critical injuries. Another adult was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A child was taken to Dell Children’s Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision closed the westbound lanes of William Cannon Drive.
The police are investigating the accident.
