Wise County, TX – Three people were injured Friday afternoon in a two-vehicle collision in south Wise County north of Springtown, according to the authorities.
The collision occurred at about 4:35 p.m. on November 7 on FM 51 near CR 3696.
Authorities said the collision involved an SUV and an older model Toyota Corolla. One of the vehicles crashed into a pipe fence.
One person was trapped in the wreckage.
Two men in the Corolla were airlifted to Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth with serious injuries.
An elderly man in the SUV was taken by ground ambulance to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision closed both directions of FM 51.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
